We would like to send out a big thanks to all of you who have expressed your anger over Jon Buice, a convicted murderer and gay-basher, being granted parole 20 years into his 45-year sentence. Your letters of protest help, and we need to keep them coming!
We've recieved some updates that will help make our campaign more effectve:
First of all, your letter needs to specifically ask "to withdraw the vote for parole" for Jon Buice. Letters should be as clear as possible; Jon Buice should not be set free, and you object to his being granted parole.
Secondly, we've been provided the email addresses of those involved in this case, including the two Parole Commissioners who voted to grant Buice parole. At this point, emailling the following people would be the most effective - and quickest - way to express your objection:
