Houston area politicians are uniting in their opposition to Jon Buice being granted parole after having served less than half of his 45 year sentence for the murder of Paul Broussard. They're writing letters to the Parole Board to protest the Buice's release, and so should you! To see what you can do, click here.
Bars in the Montrose area of Houston - the neighborhood in which Paul Broussard was murdered - are adopting safe-haven policies to combat what they fear is a rise in hate crimes. Aaron Scheerhoorn was stabbed in the area after being denied safe haven in several bars.
Rick Perry is facing more and more criticism for his participation in "The Response," but his poll numbers are also quickly rising. That doesn't make sense.
